Dr. Lynch and collaborator Dr. Chris Johnson of Henry Ford Hospital were recognized by Foreign Policy 100 Global Thinkers of 2016 for their work on the association of asthma genesis and the infants' gut microbiome. This year's Global Thinkers were recognized as individuals who 'bore the weight of progress on their own shoulders'.
